In July 2025, the British Veterinary Association (BVA) published their policy position on Responsible Use of Parasiticides in Grazing Animals.

The guidelines confirm there is substantial evidence that parasiticide overuse in grazing animals is contributing to increasing resistance and environmental damage. Use of anthelmintics should be appropriate, evidence-based, and monitored.
